It seems like we have more windy days here in Michigan. I kind of like cold weather, but windy weather sucks!

I was just telling the wind today "enough!" It is getting quite tiresome

I agree about the wind, I hate being outside in it! (even when it's warm, but most especially when it's cold out )

It seems like we've had a lot more wind the past 2-3 years; we always used to have fires in our fire pit, just for fun and to burn up stuff we cleaned up from the woods, but lately it's just too much of a fire hazard.

We are having a bit of sun right now, but probably not for very long. The typhoon to the southeast of us is intensifying and we are now in tropical storm warning condition of readiness. Groan....6th or 7th time this year! Time to batten down the hatches again!

The forecast track is still showing that the typhoon will pass south of us...crossing our fingers. But we still will get lots of rain and wind force from this typhoon.

Winter storm Bella -- bringing NO snow to the Michigan UP

(Sorry, Frank and everyone else in the path of this storm!)

Looks like I found where the Michigan folks hang out... at least this time of year!

We're forecast to get 4-6" this weekend, the first significant snowfall this year. I'm not thrilled, but I know my dog will be so happy to get out in it. It's coming weeks later than the last two years, so I guess I can't gripe too much.

I see you guys have your woes over there as well.
The updated forecast track for this typhoon looks good...by sunrise (3 1/2 hours from now) the closest approach to us will be 175 miles from our southern area.

I put "marking" poles on my driveway today so I can see where to plow:)

My driveway is ~1000 feet and it tends to disappear in a good storm.

It is going sunny and calm here, very dry, our expected rains will come by around thanksgiving time, take care to all the folks getting their early winter dose!

This has been such a nice extended autumn... I'm sure we'll get paid back for that before long

I put markers on my driveway. I drove over them. When the heck did they start naming winter "storms"? We are sposed to get a slight dusting, but temp is supposed to drop to 21 tonight. Glad I got my plants in.
