Thanks Becky! The illustrations make it look easy enough but the surface area I'm painting isn't that large. I was thinking of painting those metal pieces I picked up for my glass lamp shades. Maybe I should just stick with a solid color, it might be difficult to get in around all those "loops".
I lucked out a bit when I bought this sun on clearance at Lowe's last fall. It was regularly $24.99 marked down 75%. Made the cost $6.25, I think. Anyway, it was a concrete gray. I think it's made of material similar to hypertufa. I hung it outside and within a month it turned this color. And I didn't have to do a thing. Usually, I can't get things like I want them if I try. But this did its own thing and came out perfectly. Go figure.
VA Debbie..... You gardens and art are a treat for the eyes...so pretty. Love the reclaimed items like the chairs too. My favorite is "Sebastian" with the hair!
