Edited my first post because at first glance the thread didn't even show "art"!
I found a few more photos of 'objects' this morning.
This is my most recent addition to the gardens. Another "Stone Spirit" - remember the little one under the deck? Every year Sandie exhibits at one of the shows we attend and I'm always hoping to come home with another piece to add to the gardens - the photos on her site don't do justice to her work, it's magnificent!
http://www.windsweptcreations.... I don't have a picture of this one in my gardens yet but I'm sure Sandie wouldn't mind me borrowing her photo. There was something about him that looked like an old sea captain and all weekend we tossed around some ideas to give him a name. Let me introduce you to..."Sebastian".
I had these stone birds in another area I had just finished planting last year. By mid summer though they were getting
lost among the Hosta foliage.
This spring I started reclaiming a bog area in front of our gazebo and thought they'd look much better here with the new plantings.
I also added a lizard to the front of the gazebo but I'm realizing I've got another art object getting "lost".
From a distance it's really tough to see him so another project might be added to the winter "to do list". I think he either needs a new paint job or some wild mosaics!
And here's one more for this morning - a birdbath my daughter bought me for Christmas a few years ago.
It's another one for the "to do list" though, the bronze color has really faded so it will get a fresh coat of paint this winter.
