I love birdhouses and so many of you do too! This will be a thread for showing off all of ours.
If you want to do a tutorial for a birdhouse, please don't post it here, but show it off in a thread of it's own so we can learn and search for it later.
A friend made this one for me. The older it gets, the better I like it.
This is a clay one (they kind that's fired in a kiln) made for me by a garden friend, JoAnne.
You are welcome! I have downsized a little bit, trying to keep just the "special" ones ... the problem is, they are all special in their own way! Some of the birdhouses that have been outside for years have weathered and disintegrated over time. I've had birdhouse planters, shelves, wreath's with attached birdhouses, signs with birdhouses depicted on them, and flags too.
Here's a few more:
Ok, I've hogged this entire thread ... Sorry. I hope someone else will share their birdhouses! I'm done, promise!

Charleen: Love the fairy house with the little person and flowers ... how creative! And, those outdoor bird abodes are wonderful as well. After both my mom and dad passed I saved their license tags to use for birdhouse roof's but have not done anything with them yet and it's been six years, LOL.
Boo: Now, that is really special. Your friend did a nice job with that house and I can see why everyone wants one ... ME Too!!
I have an old Owl house that my youngest sister gave me for my birthday one year ... no owl's ever took up residence in it because it wasn't placed high enough in the tree but some other birds built a nest in there for awhile. Woodpeckers made the hole larger but never moved in and squirrel's checked it out often. It fell from the tree during a storm years ago and now sits on the ground beneath the Philodendrons:

I love all the BH, I have close to 150 and I don't think I can say which one I like the best. Except maybe one of the gourds that my DGD painted for me years ago.
Save the planet, it's the only one with chocolate.
