Tom does do a wonderful job of stuffing boxes. I didn't get Parvin's Pinot though.

Leslie, do you want one of the possible Parvin's Pinot? Send me your address. It's sooooo dry here with the drought so don't expect those large rhizomes.

Barbara, it is wet here and I have never grown a rhizome that big!! I will hold off on Parvin until next year if I may. I am feeling overwhelmed by "where will I plant these?" at the moment. I need a week off work to get iris work done!

No problem, I took the week after this one off. Hope I can get a lot done.

I hope to take a few days coming up soon. We are moving our office right now, but maybe I can sneak a few days after next weekend. Will need to since I got another box of iris today. Will need to finish the garden beds pronto!

I think now I can narrow down my most anticipated- it is Beacon of Light that just arrived in a box from Tom. I think that is about the most gorgeous iris ever to my eye! ...which is funny considering my favorites are typically pinks. Such a happy bloom- it will look like a party in the garden!

Club members iris auction today.. Who knows what will arrive. heh heh heh!

I have to wait until September 5 for the Hot Springs sale here. Our own CAIS chapter will have one the weekend after that but no medians. I will shop at H.S. sale, they have a lot of medians, and work our sale.

Our club had it's sale in early July, but since they didn't bother to share the information I missed it. Oh well. I really believe they lost my membership application. I have no idea how to get in contact with them. The Daylily club sent me an invitation to their up coming sale, and I'm not even a member.

There are no local sales here for me to go to so I have to depend on the generosity of others when it comes to acquiring more Iris rhizomes

.... Oh yeah, Tom. I forgot to mention, I keep getting tons of emails about "Daylilies" and friend requests from people I don't know on FB who grow Daylilies. I don't get it. I'm not into Daylilies!

OMG! I can't keep up with the "Iris-addiction". I'm in no shape for a new plant addiction. I don't have the room, space, or property and ground to start planting Daylilies. I would have to "borrow" both of my neighbors yards

Or less lawn, house or driveway! Me I have rock borders all around my yard that are retreating against the ATP HORDES I received this year and, I hope for years to come.

I would have to move to a Farm to get more land. I live in an Adult Community Mobile Home Park. I'm lucky to have the lawn area I have. Most properties have stone lots (Ugh!) and no yard to
speak of. I'm very fortunate to have the 2 small Iris gardens that I have.

Then you're gonna have to figure out a way to plant vertically!!!
