Some more reigning in of other plants will be required to make room, but I do have a plan. There's a daylily that isn't pink enough that is going to another bed, so there one will reside. I must reign myself in too though, this easily gets ridiculous, lol!

I ordered SDB 'Portland Pink' from Mid America this year. It is supposed to bloom late as it has an unusual background. Right next to Chanted from the club sale which is a usual SDB.

So glad you came to the club sale and got some good pinks. I was so busy pulling the tickets that I didn't really get much that I wanted since they were already chosen. But I did get Puzzled, Etcetera and Triple Dip plus a huge Coralina, all from MidAmerica (I think) and all were nice sizes. I planned to get pinks and blues and came home with neither of them. I will be coming to your garden in the spring to see your pinks!

Jane, it was such fun! Wish I could have stayed longer and chatted with everyone, but I had a very impatient friend waiting outside for me. You did get some great ones! And please do come see the gardens!

You too Mary Ann!

I must be in a "pondering" mood today !.....In hearing you talk about "Mordor"....I started thinking about the "Trilogy", and of course, The Hobbit....then to "theme gardens"....and all the possibilities Blinking ! I, of course like "oldies", first, and of course, My "Indians", Rita has her "Star Wars", but, the possibilities are endless !
Song Tilles
Movies
Royalty ("King" this, or" Princess" that )
States
iris named for "other" flowers
"Little" iris names ( Lttle Mohee, Little Blackfoot, etc. )
and the possibilities go on for ever !, All the Dykes winners, everything by Zurbrigg, only luminatas Drooling

Have y'all noticed how many song names Tom Johnson uses? And Paul Black too? I realized 3 of 4 of those I got from the club sale were Enough is Enough, Still the One, and Don't Stop Believing- all songs!

The only reason I couldn't do a theme garden by names is because the colors don't necessarily go together....and that would break my brain....
