My gardening efforts have waned and my vitamin D intact (sunlight) is suffering.

I'm so glad we've had some nice little rainy episodes, more to come?

We have a very sweet drizzle all day. I did not do much except read the paper and watch it rain on the back patio.

I finally moved inside at 3pm.

Now I am changing linens because one company has left and another arrives on Wednesday. And doing laundry. Sharon.
If it is not going to affect you five years from now, do not let it get you down.

Whew! Found you guys! Plant question about rodney asters that I got at the swap a few years ago. Will it hurt them if I whack them back a foot or so? They're about four feet tall and block the view of my garden from my patio door. Is there anything I can do to get them to bloom before they're good 'n ready in a month or so?

I do not know about making them bloom but you can whack them as much as you want. They never go away!!

Does the heat have anything to do with what might be the optimum time to whack? We don't whack roses in summer so as to not stimulate growth that can stress the plant. Let the plant rest then whack in Fall when they are more likely to shoot up healthy growth. But, if it's a matter of being unsightly that's different story.

Okay, so I'll whack some and not whack others - split plot design - will run the t-test and get back with ya! Sticking tongue out

I have time to do this because I decided to retire from the school district! Waiting on my fingerprint card so I can sub. Whooeee!

Wow ! Christa! Great news! I've been retired for 4 months. It's different I'll tell ya! I'm having a bit of a hard time structuring productivity. Subbing will be a good strategy to start with. You'll have lots of free time. Congratulations!

Thanks for doing the test!

I don't.
The only candy I eat is See's dark chocolate coconut. Yes, sometimes See's dark " pink" raspberry and cherry. If it's good enough for Warren Buffett it's good enough for me.

Never had a Big Mac or Chicken McNuggets
Don't do Wendy's or any fast food at all
I eat La Brea whole grain bread.
Allergic to all cow products. East only soy or almond milk yogurt
Don't drink juices... I eat whole organic fruit
No Jello
No ice cream
No Skittles
No Gum
I DO eat salmon almost every day

How about that stock market??????
