Everyone has great plants in bloom. I have struggled a bit with mealies this summer, but have the affected plants separated from others and with Neem and alcohol methods, it seems to be pretty much eradicated. Was in Maine for 2 weeks while my son watered, but he did not check for anything like bugs. I have been away for a few days again, and am anxious to get back and see what is happening.

The Greenville Gerberra 'Snow Ballet' with 13 flowers and another spike on the way...this is an amazing plant!
Mtdm. Goliath's Spire 'Mauna Loa' with a very long spike..the buds don't seem to be opening in any particular
order...one at the tip, one in middle and one in the lower 3rd...is this normal for these plants?

Drooling The Massachusetts Gerberara 'Snow Ballet' is in the sun inside. Hoping this will make some buds appear. That sure looks great!
Haven't had an experience like the opening of the Mtdm.

Ha ha. Reminds me of a Tom Lehrer (50s satirist Harvard prof http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T... ) song and another weed, Whistling "She's the old dope peddlar, spreading joy wherever she goes." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v... (A lot better than another of his songs "poisoning Pigeons in the Park"!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v... ) Anyone know him or was this a local thing?
Thank you, thank you Carol!! You are the best! Happy Dance.

Great show Ursula, love those Darwinaras and of course the red of Lc Sagarik Wax. Lc Mary Elizabeth Bohn 'Royal Flare' is sure to get your attention.

Fred beautiful foggy Vanda.

Lindsey, 'Snow Ballet' is spot on, a real show stopper. As far as the Miltonidium blooms, they usually start at the bottom and work their way up but I have seen some random openings.

Bree, love the pink tones in your NOID cymbidium.
