OhTamara! Is your liatris still blooming? Mine was done a couple weeks ago already. My Viburnum shrub has berries on it turning red already. Last year they weren't turning red in August! What does this mean? An early fall, maybe? Course last year the birds didn't leave them on the shrub long enough to get red. Or maybe it just didn't mature enough. Shrug! I don't know. I don't remember ever having any red berries on it. Monster white brugmansia is in bloom. I've got pictures, just not on this new laptop. Haven't gotten quite that far yet to figure pics out on here.

I was afraid someone would say that. I'm not ready to fall-ize my sun room for all the plants I winter over....... I want to use it yet for other things. But I should look at this as an early warning and get crack on the stuff I want to get done BEFORE that..................

I cannot believe it's almost a new month again! Where does the time go??

It's a bit cooler here but warming up again into the mid-90's by the end of the week ... and still too dry. I sound like a broken record. Sigh! Glare
I garden for the pollinators.

Only 2 1/2" of rain with hurricane Irene. We have had enough water. Had a small session for weed pulling today & found it tiring.

Those things will grow anywhere. You know it was bad enough when the birds would plant sun flower seeds for me, never knew where they would come up. This year I am overwhelmed with tiny not so big not so sturdy plants all over the place. Seems later June? my hubby decided to plant sun flower seeds ALL OVER THE PLACE. I have them growing in every single bed I have and then other places........................Now I like sun flowers as much as the next person, but everything has its own place..........sunflowers in the roses, in my iris, in my lilies, in shrubs is not MY idea of their own place.. Have to make him a place all his own for his sunflowers, peppers and maybe then he'll leave my gardens alone.
