Really? I have not really grown
L. candidum for long or very well. That's not been my experience. Does anyone else concur?

It is true that many species are not long lived, and that many are less tolerant to culture different than their native haunts. Most often, though, it is the right combination of cultural factors that make them happy. These combinations may or may not include the accepted norm for the particular species.
