Thanks Pard, I would love some seeds in the fall. May I send you a Thoroughbred in exchange? I'm pretty sure it's a tet from the substance. The flowers would hold up a coffee cup, I think.

It's pretty much sold yellow inside, Connie. A white one from the same cross should be opening soon. Some others of yours, too.

This one didn't bloom in the DC Sims mix last year. It's the first bloom! I'm liking this one.

Absolutely beautiful, mags! That one is as nice or nicer than "store bought" bulbs. Ahhh the fun of growing lilies from seed!

The spot pattern on your DC Sims mix photo is especially nice. It's like there is an aurora around the center.

Thank you guys . It's so much fun watching them bloom and seeing what I have. The spotting and color on that one are pretty organized and it looks to be sidefacing (b orientation), a plus in my book.

In these warm days, flowers are popping before I know it! I'd swear buds had yet another day to open, and I'd come home from work and they've already blossomed. A bummer when you want to make clean crosses. Sigh. Well at least I still can use their pollen...

Here is a "runt" from Pard's cross of "2 white with some green reverse, seed parent heavy substance." It took three years to bloom, but I am sure it was partly due to competition from others planted too close. I must say this particular cross, of the four I received from Connie, has consistently produced the best foliage by far. Deeper green, and a heavier substance there too.

Worth the wait...started in 2007. One of the first lilies I ever tried from seed came from Connie/pardalinum. This is her American West x Apricot Tetra Trumpet. This one for me was like a kid waiting for Christmas morning. Seeing as it turned out to have green in it with some red flush it seemed fitting.
