The blue area on the falls looks exactly like it did in real life. The camera actually captured the color of the flower quite well, which isn't always the case. If you look at other pictures in the database, that blue flash is visible in them, too. Moreover, if you look at Brad's clump shot (currently on the second row) you'll see that the color of the falls, in particular, changes as the flower ages. The falls on a freshly open flower are dark gold with an electric blue flash below the beards. The colors soften quite a bit on older flowers and the blue flash becomes a light violet color.
