Welcome! Glad you found the Daylily Forums.
Good to see the late season blooms and some beauties. Daylily blooms are almost done but we still enjoy the crepe myrtles and chaste trees putting on a show. Nice flowers Cindy and Betsy.

Mike - Are you talking about this quote .... "What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters, compared to what lies within us."? Confused

If so, I hadn't even thought of using quotes! Whistling Hilarious! Hilarious! Thumbs up

New With Spandex is showing nice pleating and I love the color of Blood, Sweat and Tears. This past summer I saw Karol's Cloud Rider and hope to add it to the garden next year...think I need to look at adding a few more. A good winter project of looking through the ATP Database at her intro's and the images.
Nice blooms posted the past few days for so late in the season Thumbs up Busy outside trying to get everything done, still have all the select seedlings from this year to move, after I move the final bridge plants and line outs from the 2011's. Then a few thousand rejects to dig and compost...
Daylilies continue to bloom here and I finally remembered to take a few images to share.

Delta Phase still on the original scapes opened well after a cool night last night.

Pee Wee's Big Adventure, still going strong and building buds.

Barbara Barnette, blooming on a rebloom scape. Big blooms with heavy substance and a nice green throat.

and a couple seedlings on rebloom scapes.

What color would you say that Barbara Barnette is?

Becky, the color is a light pink base with a darker eye. Tends to be slightly on the muddy side with a bit of tan or beige mixed in.

Char - Thanks! What you described is exactly what I see in your photo. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't shaded or something else to have the slight muddy tan/beige in the color. Very unusual color. Thumbs up

Becky, I wasn't talking about the whole quote but phrases within the quote as names. Example " Tiny Matters", "What Lies Behind Us", etc.

I planted 'Buttered Popcorn' on June 13th 2015, and it is just now blooming for the first time. This is the FFOE and it currently has 10 more buds to open.

I also have a rebloom on 'Chicago Apache':

I thought I had all bloomed out, but I got a few buds on two cultivars that I added in July.

While they haven't bloomed yet, I have scapes and buds on three of my new plants from Maryott's. This includes both of my Oktoberfest and my Partita. One of my Lady Elizabeth's is still blooming too and I may have one more bud left on Persian Market.

Hoping the the Oktoberfest and Partita wait till I get back from vacation next Thursday.

This is my first bloom from my Maryott's order in July. It is beautiful...I have a few more buds on the scape. I have a scape on SIGN LANGUAGE as well. I can't wait to see what that looks like. I was so pleased with MINERAL SPRINGS that I checked the website to order two more plants, but they are sold out right now.

Today was bloom day!

FFOE - MEMORIES OF OZ -- I have purposely left the grass and leaves in this bed to try and protect the plants from our extreme Bakersfield heat and sunlight -- plus I'm only allowed to water 3 times a week and they have really suffered, and I was absolutely amazed that this one bloomed!

And the rest are in pots:

LITTLE MUCHA MINTO - You can see a hint of the raspberry halo on the 3 petals

So nice to see blooms tonight! Pastor Z is a pretty shade of purple, makes the edge really pop. A few still blooming here, Waterpocket Fold, The Dream Society, and on rebloom scapes Groovin, Barbara Barnette, Still Mornings Mist and some sdlgs. None of them are looking very good with the cooler nights and heavy morning dew.

I have Buttered Popcorn also and just noticed today that it is putting up a new scape. Hurray! Hope the weather stays nice enough to give it time to bloom.
