I think I spelled that wrong I think it is really My Joe Ann. It has been around here several years and I tell ya, it has never been any more than 1 bulb. I think I got it from a friend, who got it from a friend, who got it at a society bulb sale. The sales you have to be present for to get them. I thought maybe it was a hartle-Gillman gem or maybe a Canadian bred beauty. It begs for pollen....so it got some. I moved it last year, because it was in a wetter spot and I thought it needed new neighbors ;) and better drainage. Maybe now it will get busy and multiply.
And I feel like my camera is taking terrible pictures this year. Maybe it's just me, but the quality looks crummy.
Thanks for the nice comments. You guys are great. And you know I am glued here to see what is opening next for you all.
And 'Eurydike' vs. 'Eurydice', well...I always thought they were different because the two I have are different, which means one of them is wrong, right? Go figure, some more lilies that are the wrong one. In this case, I don't mind so much, because they are both pretty. Unlike the 3 white 'Pink Latvia' lilies I got. Have I ever mentioned that plain white lilies are fine, if that's what you wanted, but not so fine when you were dreaming of speckled pink?
Not even one of them was pink.
Jo Ann, I bought 'Rosella's Dream', and it isn't blooming yet. We'll have to compare when it does.
