I bought the Buggy Crazy everything mix and am loving it too ge. Every morning now a new surprise. I think I got a 'Firetruck' in mine. I was over at her site last night trying to see what else looked familar....maybe a 'PYC' too. Lisa certainly has a gift for hybridizing and growing lilies. I hope someday she will get the recognition she deserves for all she has done. It would be very, very well deserved.
The trumpets I have are not the ones you have Donna. I bought a few trumpets at my old house and left them there, I think. It wasn't until I saw some in the B&D catalog, 'Lord Samuel Hood' in particular, years ago, that my interest was peaked. Then came the Lily Garden trumpets (Chorlier Strain, Sinfonia) and then a glimpse at one I never did find of Ed McRae's that I am grateful to have found a cross of in the NALS seed exchange. Coming in to the PNWLS, under the wire you might say, the last time Ed Mc Rae's trumpets were offered. Then finally, trumpets from seed....they are some of the easiest and most reward little buggers you can do.
Donna, I'd say your planting above is graceful. They blend together perfectly. I'm glad you liked how things turned out there.
