Thanks, Polly and Christine. I am truely lucky that all is well here at my house.
Pippi, When you look for rebloom, please remember that just because a daylily is listed as reblooming doesn't mean it will rebloom in all areas of the country. It depends on were the daylily was hbridized and were in the country one lives.
The names in () are the names of the hybridizer (creator) of the daylily. No, I don't deadhead. I only deadhead what I need to in order to take my pictures. I just leave everthing else.
I have all sorts, evergreen, semi evergreen and dormant so many times even the evergreens go dormant. Depents on the winter.
Two Janes and Rich in Mercy really are not even close to similiar. Rich in Mercy has the edge and ruffeling which Two Janes doesn't have. It is also much heavier in substance.
Well, I am not out there mulching in the winter. But if I put down the straw I leave it. Never take it up. Eventually it dissapears on its own. If I have fall leaves I use them too for mulching. If not, I just use the straw. I have to mulch my garden. If I didn't the weeds would take over the world.
I don't like the looks of plant signs so my markers are not noticeable. They are fairly small. White Radi Clip (brand) 8 inch white plant markers.
