It's not very likely that we will be having a white Christmas. They are predicting 60 degrees for Christmas Eve.

I have an idea , It is about 0 degrees celcius out there right now . How about when the snow does finally come all you Florida folks make the trip up north to see your very own cold and wet snow and those of us up North here hit the great State of Florida for just a touch of warmth! LOL! Must admit I have been enjoying this very odd weather here in S.W. Ontario . It wouldnt break my heart if we didnt see snow here this winter .

Heather, that is a great idea! I'd love to join in and head to Florida, but I don't think we can even make it up our driveway, thanks to the freezing rain!

Oooh freezing rain .......now that is no fun! You will just have to snuggle down and relax . That's really all you can do .

We have been really lucky here and have had no real inclement weather so far this late fall . Usually we are up to our armpits in snow so not having to deal with that has been such a nice reprieve . We have had such warm weather this fall and just a smattering of rain ...no deluges thank goodness and no freezing rain . They say the next couple of days will be cold but then we are to warm up again . I say " Thank you .....we'll take it ! " .

Heather, maybe I can make it to Florida after all! The freezing rain turned to snow, so I just may have a chance of making it up the driveway after all!

I've had no complaints about the weather, either. We've had mostly rain, because it has been warm, and the snow is beautiful, even though we got a lot more than expected. Hopefully it gets into the low 40s tomorrow as expected, and most of it will melt. So far this year has been much better than last year! I just hope it continues that way!

Heather, your weather has been very similar to ours. I am in SE lower Michigan and it has been weird weather. We still have Robins here.

Heather, I have often thought how nice it would be to trade homes for 2 weeks to a month so those in the north could get out of the cold & we in the south could get into the cold.

Felt like we had an earthquake at 3:18 this morning. I went on a recent earthquakes website and didn't see anything listed but I noticed in Challis, Idaho they had a mild earthquake l6 hours ago. I was wondering if that was anywhere near Natalie.

Natalie is 6 hrs. & 46 min. or 366 miles from Challis but that's drive time not as the crow flies. She's northwest of Challis but to drive you go north & then west, drop down south a little bit, then head west again & then northwest again. I won't feel comfortable till we hear from her. Cindy, I can't find a report about the quake. What magnitude was it? Do you know?

I found something. Looks like Challis is no stranger to earthquakes & this one was magnitude 1.5, a day ago a 2.3 & a 1.7, 4 days ago a 2.1 & so on & so forth. Natalie hasn't mentioned any of those so I guess she doesn't feel them where she is.
