I didn't know that Idaho got quakes, I was also surprised that there was one in our area 2 days ago although we didn't feel it, it was 3.6. http://www.kamloopsthisweek.co...

Ann, I probably wouldn't have felt that if they were right under my house. I grew up about 25 miles San Francisco. Hilarious! You get to a point where you sleep right through them after a while!

There have been a few quakes this year around 3 hours north of us, but I didn't feel those, either. Earthquakes never really bothered me, but I've probably been through enough of them to last a lifetime.

Woke up to a couple more inches of snow. Mark is thinking about plowing the driveway. Wouldn't be a bad idea, I guess, in case of an emergency.

We woke up to a couple more inches of snow too, Serge is on his way out to shovel, 23F degrees, no more snow expected today, but there are a few big clouds floating around. Shrug!

They are calling for a high of 70F. No snow today. Hilarious!

It's been a while since I felt an earthquake. I hope I didn't jinx myself.

I can't believe you aren't getting any snow, Kelli! Seems like perfect temps there for it. Hilarious!

I kind of worry about jinxing myself too, when I say I haven't felt a quake!

Temps. are dropping here -- supposed to go down to 34 tonight. That is just lovely to us but it's really only a 2 day cold front. After that not so bad - in the 70's. But Xmas eve, Xmas & the 26th & 27th are 80's. Sighing!

You're right Linda. It sucks. We moved up here to have *winters* and not wear shorts at Christmas. I really shouldn't complain. It's much worse where we used to live. As in wearing shorts & sweating like a pig & muggy to boot. We've had great winters since moving here it's just this sucky El Nino. I wish he would show his face. I would blow some buckshot into him.

We have a light dusting of snow on the ground and it is snowing again this morning. Won't likely stick much because it is supposed to get up to 45 by tomorrow.

Agree on the gray days, Margaret. We are heavily over cast today as well but no rain on the way.

Me, either, but it's not really part of my experience base so I've learned not to miss it.
