Thanks, when I get the time again I want to put the dark blues together with a couple of other blues I have.

The one blue goblet would be a pretty candle in a hanger with the solar lights too.

I am going to Baton Rouge tomorrow (actually, today) and I am fixing to check the web for all the Goodwill stores on my route.

I posted a few photos of my thrifty finds on the lamp shade thread but here's a full shot of almost everything I bought at Habitat for Humanity on Monday. I didn't get a photo of the china I got because it's already in my workshop!


I don't really have any immediate plans for the blue tiles but I have plans for a new sun garden where I want everything "blue" so I couldn't resist these. I started to grab 30 of them but at $.10 each (plus 15% off!) I ended up doubling it and got 60!

The glass blocks in the middle are really unique, another $.85 each! They're 45 degree angles with fluted curved fronts. I can't find anything like them on any of the sites that have these glass blocks (bricks)? I did find some similar with the angle but no fluting or curved fronts and they were $95 for a case of four!!!


We found out they came from an old motel where they were used for a wall in the showers. I'm not sure if they were straight or curved walls? But look how four of them makes a perfect circle!

I'm planning to make a lamp post for the corner of the driveway - the center has just enough room for a light!

Oops, meant to tell you Becky, I bought another six of those glass bricks to ship to Phoenix! I'm not sure if my son is going to use them but I'm planning a week to help him landscape, etc. around the first of December. Our ideas are clashing but I figured what the heck, he might find a use for them and at $.85/each I couldn't pass up the deal!

Went up the the bowling alley cafe for dinner tonight and on the way home stopped at one of the produce stand/yard sale and scored big time. Paid $3.50 for all this.





The big glass bowl I've seen for 20 bucks and higher, I paid $2.00. The big plates were 50 cents each and the round glass candle holder was 50 cents, the rest was all free. yippee.
