Well, yesterday I received the most beautiful fall order from Floyd Cove, and I just have to share. And if you could have seen what I saw when I opened the big box -- everything was perfectly wrapped and placed -- a work of art to my eye, although I'm admittedly a messy and haphazard kinda gal... but it was pure perfection!



I had only ordered five plants -- and they included three gift plants (also new intros) plus my "surprise" gift of COBALT RINGS from James!

Awww. James, that was so nice of you. Last year I had a surprise gift of Sunflower Blues from Mike Morri. Can't wait to see it bloom.

I'm getting 5 more of Dan Hansen's new intro's. Shhh. Don't tell DH!

I will be looking over those listed here to help me make up my mind for next year. I usually spend days looking at the Lily Auction. So far I know I want to at Space Warp to my Star Trek Garden. I wonder if the new Star Wars movie will help name any daylilies.

Leslie, Sunflower Blues was new for me this year. I LOVED it. It is a strange color and very hard for my camera to photograph that neon blue color. I used the edit to bring out the colors accurately.

I am currently working on my orders for next year.

Dan Hansen has a 2016 that I'm thinking would be a good match too. It's Happy Energy. It and 4 Beasts have metallic glints. It looks Sunflower Blues does too.

Leslie, I also got Four Beasts in One last fall. It bloomed this year a few blooms. I used the pollen and got some pods, but it is still one fan.

Sunflower Blues increased to thee fans after I got one this spring from Nicole. She sends nice size fans of everything. Sunflower Blues looks very different on cooler days than it does on hot days. Here is a picture of it early in the season after day after day of rain.

I received Malibu barbie, and majestic design this fall. They sent awesome sized plants! I hope they do well next year.

I find they do better for me if I get them in the spring, plus they are much larger then. I heard they were sending awesome generous fans.

I received triple fans of everything I ordered, and they sent equal fall 15 intros as gifts. I bought cool bananas, Malibu Barbie, and majestic design. Got jade parade, lousie something and another EV as a bonus. I traded everything but a sf of jade parade.

If those acquired this fall count as an add for 2016, then I only got BILOXI MEMORIES via the LA. When you only grow them in containers, it's a limitation on what you can add. I'm at the point where those I'm growing need to assert their grow-worthiness under the conditions they are growing. I tend to get attached to plants that do well for me, so being a productive plant is helpful for them. From the ATP DB:

Dynamic Delight looks to me like it has a white dove at the bottom of the petals, it is stunning.

The last time an entry was made to this thread was in November. Well I've been thinking and looking at the AHS awards. I have a collection of the Stout Medal receipients. The 47 Lenington All-American Award seems like a good award to tackle next. So far I have been able to find all but a couple. Surprisingly, I already had several discounting the 4 Stouts that also received the Lenington.
