I finally got a picture of this print without it being too fuzzy, or too much glare. This is a pressed paper image, then watercolor print. It's not terribly valuable (6/81), but I have it in my "blue guest room". It's titled "Iris". I have one more item that I thought about, but only after I had down loaded the pictures. It's a pressed glass candy dish from the pre-depression era, or the roaring 20's. I'll try to get a picture of that later.

Good idea on the paper. Imagine layers of cut paper? How cool would that be? Someday.....after I fix...............all the things a 197 year old house needs fixed.

I called out to (where was it?) Arizona? And tried to track down that Nancy Glazier Iris print. No such luck. They told me that if an item doesn't sell on the online auction, they send it out "to the floor" (to a store). If it doesn't sell in a very short period of time, they THROW IT AWAY!!!!! I think I'll cry..........

I've been trying to track down another one -- all I can come up with are her horse prints and her wildlife prints.

I didn't even find any direct contact information for her. Did find this one Facebook page that might be able to put you in touch with her.

I found the iris print on eBay but it was $145? or so.

The animal prints are fabulous. Nancy Glazier is a super talented painter!

She certainly is, Linnea. Some of her prints go for close to a thousand dollars!

Most of this art is just flowers. The one blue flag seems to have faded and well, it is one of my poorer pieces. I don't particularly like it. My son does. He will get it some day. Lots of reflections from glass.

Part of a pastel of made up flowers.

Spiderworts, acrylic and opaque watercolor with a lot of reflection jumping off the glass.

Platycodon seed packet cover, drypoint watercolor.

Blue Flag from Massachusetts, colored pencil and watercolor.

The little seed packet probably took 7 hours to paint, this 5x7 in tempera took 5 minutes. Do you think some of those impressionistic blobs in the background are iris?

Here is print of Nancy Glazier's that she swapped with me probably 20 years ago. She got a box of iris in exchange. I need to get it framed.
