Based on what I can see of the member ID, I think I know who it is, but that person wouldn't know I had the initial bid. I didn't mention it here. Smiling

I was afraid to place a bid because I did not know who else from ATP was bidding on which iris. I would have bid on Strawberry Shake but I know I am not the only one who wants that one. So many lovely irises.

I'm done, just bought Count the Kisses in a "buy it now". Now I need to contact Sisters and get them sent.

Yep, it's that auction fever. Incites you to keep driving the price up and up and up, even if you go beyond what it would cost to buy it from the vendor's website. Shrug! Thank you, though. Smiling Maybe I will get one as a bonus, you never know. If not, I'll get it next year.

It would be fun, once all the auctions are done, to list what we all got. I am so tempted with Coffee Shop. I never bothered to notice when the ground freezes here because I never planted past September. This year I'll take notice so I know for next year the very latest'pushing it' date I can plant.

Blessings to all!

Gabriel. If you get outbid on Parisian Dawn I can help you out next summer. I planted 2 from Schreiners and they are putting out some nice increases. But my bet is you will win, seems bidding has slowed up.

Hopes that I do win. If someone overbids me this late it wasn't meant to be then. I have about 45 rhizomes to still pot, a ton of dirt to mix, and I'm not looking foward it. 3 less to pot wouldn't hurt my feelings one bit. Never thought I'd be going this late in the year. Shrug!

Gabe, people who are not addicted to the iris plant say things like 'they only bloom for a few months in the spring, what do you do in the garden the rest of the year?'. L&L&LOL

John, I was insanely tempted by Coffee Shop, too. How I managed to resist bidding I don't know, but my bank account is happy that I did. Sticking tongue out

Yesssssss, Bonnie, addicted... that's the word...addicted... Drooling Drooling Drooling Drooling

Didn't get French Lilacs--it went for $24.00 for three rhizomes, which is the price per rhizome that Iris Sisters had on their website this year. Crazy auction fever. Or a lack of research before bidding. Or both? I did get four auctions. Each of the four I bid on because I had someone in mind for trades on the extra rhizomes, or because I wanted to help a friend. Eager to find out what bonuses, if any, they send along.

All beautiful, Debra. Coffee Shop tempted me too. I am glad you got these and hope you get great bonuses.

I just moved into a house who's yard has been neglected for 7 years, a lot of clearing by hand and elbow grease. I sell my bunches of lilies, primarily stargazers to wedding planners in the spring and early summer. I'm clearing my backyard also for a 10x12 green house to grow lillies and more perennials throughout the winter. I do minor landscape and sells to independent business of my propagated shrubs also(which take forever). I keep a little busy.. I tip my hat to you.
