>> I can't find the snow peas!
My bad! I made them "available", but didn't turn the gray check green. It's green now.
It alphabetizes under "Snow pea".
Sorry!
>> Rick, are any of your lettuces especially pretty?
Meh. Not what's listed, mostly. Lettuce (Lactuca sativa 'Breen') is a bronze-red Romaine type.
For "pretty", or at least colorful, try these, which I haven't listed, but might if I find time and have enough left.
Any I do find and add, I will list here.
'Marvel of Four Seasons' = Merveille des Quatre Saisons Butterhead type
Lactua sativa 52 days - ruby-tipped leaves & icy-green heart. Reliable production all season
'Flashy Trout's Back' = 'Forellenschluss' - Dark green with wine-red speckles
Austrian heirloom. Lactua sativa - Loose, open head romaine
OP variety, 55 DTM - rich buttery flavor - Johnny's Seeds 2013
Select Salad Blend - color & flavor - harvest young 45-50 days - Livingston Seeds for 2012
20% Crimson Butter
20% Red Salad Bowl
20% Iceberg 20% Bibb
20% Lolla Rosa
Baby leaves of either of these would be pretty in salad:
Bok Choy (Brassica rapa 'Red-Violet')
Pak Choy (Brassica rapa 'Taipai Red')
I happen to think that Michihli Chinese cabbage is gorgeous when mature, but it is green. When young, it would be good in salad:
Chinese Cabbage (Brassica rapa 'Michihili Jade Pagoda')
Also check out the "Mustard, Deep Purple, Neseeds #31669" for looks. But it is mustard, not lettuce!
