Arlyn - that multi-bloom shot of Autumn Twilight is gorgeous.

Thanks ! That seems to be a tendency of many of the 'older" Re's......opening several blossoms at the same time......almost a 'single stalk bouquet' Sticking tongue out . It does make for an interesting look....from a distance, but, up close, you can see that the blooms are so crowded together that it impedes their opening correctly. I wish I had counted the buds on that plant this year....it was a staggering number Sticking tongue out

I want to recognize David Schmieder. He has mainly done medians, but now is working with I cristata ( the crested iris) & he is the only one who hybridizes, all others are collected. Photos of those are on the Joe Pye Weed site.

It is a Luminata. Smiling If you haven't visited the Mid America facebook page lately, you will want to see some of the new seedlings that are posted on there. Some will blow you away for sure!

Why has the way pictures enlarge changed on this site? I use to click on the picture and the entire frame filled with the picture. Now it has a large white border and the picture isn't as large. I thought it may be just my computer at home, but it is happening here at work to.

I made it this way so that if the image is larger than your screen, it makes the image fit your screen so you can see the whole thing without scrolling.

@dave Only you still have to scroll to see it, and you see less of it at one time. You got a better view the old way. Too bad it doesn't open a window that you can maximize to make it fill the whole screen. Smiling
