Rick Tasco has been doing some great work with plicatas, among other things.. There has to be something special about a plicata to get my attention, and 'Splashacata' (Tasco 1998) is an outstanding variety.

I sure do love my Burseen's, and he has created hundreds. Many very hard to find, some classic, not all with horns/spoons/flounces, but a great variety for any taste and color preference. And they grow really really well in NC!
