First you are not bidding, you are dibbing (picking). Once you pick it's yours you can't be outbid. Once the swap opens you can dib until you run out of tickets, but keep checking back because if others are picking your seeds then you can earn extra tickets. You will start with 4 tickets on day one, 8 tickets on day two, 12 on day three etc. New tickets will be awarded each day at the same time each day, 7pm Eastern 6pm Central, 4pm Pacific. The quantity of tickets you have available will be posted on the home page for this swap.

Susie---You don't have to use up all the tickets you get. At first you don't have enough. By the end you will have more than enough. You might consider the question of "How many seeds can I actually plant or have time to plant this coming year?"

Susie I saw one dwarf Hollyhock offered, but there may be more. I think maybe it was Christine that offered Queeny Mix.

Welcome to the swap @rattlebox!

I noticed that someone is from Europe. How does that work for seed swaps? The reason I ask is I know someone who travels the world and I'm trying to figure out how they can get seeds from other countries and bring it here for me Big Grin

Jonna mails her seed to the host in the U.S. The host mails her seeds back. Whether that works depends a lot on the country they mail from and where the are returned.

@Littlecheryl - For most Europeans it's very easy to send seeds to the USA. I often send seeds to the USA.
Easier than bringing them to the USA personal, because of customs.
If you have any questions, just ask.

Thanks!! So it'd be easier to mail them to myself than to try to bring them with me? Didn't think of that!!

Yes, it's easier to mail them. There is hardly any customs check if you do it the right way: no big boxes ( Europeans don't have to fill in a customs form for small envelopes), no seed company as sender (I always send seeds with my private name)
