Oh, Heidi Sad Sad I'm so sorry. I wish I could claim I'm not familiar with that awful feeling that comes with the realization of what I just did. Alas, I find I pull stunts like that on myself all too often. Next time will be better!

I got the bulk of the seeds listed. I have to check my little box for odds and ends. If any that I have listed are too common, I can delete them. Or people can not request them. Most things that I listed have cultivar names.

Too cold to type any more. I am heading to my warm, cozy bed! I hope my pipes don't freeze tonight.

I came home a little early. I was afraid there would be things I needed to do.

Susie, the answer to your question is: As long as I don't have to do anything about it. Whistling This swap was put together in a couple of hours. When Dave suggested that having it run at the same time as the other two would be a good test of the system I posted it almost immediately and all of the timelines have been compressed. I want to turn around the seeds and send them home as soon as possible. Even with the wonderful trade system in place, there will be a lot to do after the swap ends. So, if you or anyone else offers up unclaimed seeds after the swap ends, I don't want to know about it. Smiling (though you could always leave them in your inventory for another swap)
What I mean is if you agree to send another swapper a pack of seeds outside what is tracked in the system, that is between you and them. I imagine everyone will have all they want at the end, but maybe not. I won't be keeping up with it or counting it when packing up the seeds for re-distribution. As long as you have included your packing slip the swap system provides I will only be checking each package to make sure the seeds from the slip are correct and are all there. If you put something additional in the baggie designated for that player and everything else is correct I will ignore it and leave it in the baggie you placed it in.
I hope that made sense.

Alana, I have question about how we choose our picks for the day. I know that Horntoad said there will be a chest icon when the swap opens. Do you just click on the chest and it confirms dibs on that item or are there other steps? Also, How do you know if you got dibs on something? lastly, I understand when someone picks 2 of your packets you are given an extra pick. Do you have to go somewhere special to get your extra picks or do they show up on your wants list somehow?

Lisa, when you click on the icon you will get a screen that ask you to confirm your pick. Just pick on confirm and it's yours. Go back to your wishlist and pick some more until you tickets are gone. On you wishlist page there is a line at the top that shows how many tickets you have. If you get extras they will show up there and you use the just like the regular tickets. After you make your first pick the will be a new like on the swap home page showing everything you bought and who you bought it from. Also when some picks your seeds a new link will appear for that also.

That's it. Also Lisa, the system keeps track in real time. If you click on a treasure chest a half-second behind someone else that has already scarfed it up you will get a message telling you there is no longer a quantity of that item. In a second the treasure chest will disappear indicating the final quantity has already been exhausted.

This sounds like it is going to be so much better than the past swaps. The ease of having in organized for you is great!

Thank you

That's the easiest way to do it. When it is almost time open it and keep refreshing it until you see the treasure chests.

I have a question I don't believe was addressed before...if you have something in your wishlist and you don't get dibs on it and it goes to zero quantity if they relist it will it stay on your wishlist?
I had some I really wanted and missed but am hoping maybe the trader has more and adds them. I don't want to take it off if it may appear again.

As long as you leave it in you wishlist then it should show up when they add more. That is if they just add more to the quantity of the original listing. If someone added it by creating a new listing then it would not show.

Also, Ronnie, you could post those that you want on the "Seedy Interests" thread and that may spur someone to make up another pack if they have extra.
