The 30's do not sound like fun Margaret, even though we are still getting them at night it has been warming up nicely during the day. The rain and warm temps have pulled a lot of the frost out of the ground and surprisingly the mud has not been that bad. Still above ankle deep here and there and the dirt paths in the sdlg beds are very greasy. Over did it outside today cleaning the sdlg beds, I'll sleep good tonight.... it just felt so nice to be outside in the fresh air and sunshine. Still seeing geese flying into the wetland across the road, no robins or red-winged blackbirds yet.

It got sunny this afternoon, temperature shot all the way up to 38f. It's supposed to be mostly sunny next week, I sure want to get outside and start cleaning up.
60F in the garden today managed to be pleased when after several hours playing around in the soil,..stood back and found there was a neatness of sorts at last.

Sooooo much flooding, loss of life and property from all that rain. So sad to watch. Seventy eight year old man drowned while trying to recover property from his submerged home.
Rainey day today. As long as we stay warm for the month of March and get rain and not snow I am not complaining. Last year it was cold, cold, cold and all of March had snow. This year so much better.
