Looking good, Jim. You're colder than we are...finally.
Got a few not so great pictures yesterday, before my camera died.
Mama Gerberara snow ballet, Epi. secundum, and mini Epi.Ellipticum 'purple' have a bit of hail damage but seem to thrive in cold temps.

I love the mayumi, Carol. It may be the most vigorous grower I have ever had.

That's for sure! The one I posted is one of two divisions blooming. I have another one, I think, that is in bud, and possibly a fourth. I can't remember how many divisions I have for sure.

Just love that Cymbidium, Jim. Every time I read that name, I hear Sean Connery saying it with his Scot's accent rolling all the Rrr's.

Beauties going on there Carol, and Mayumi really is wonderful. But nothing can beat your Mama Gerberara for being a vigorous 'weed' of an orchid. Just lovely. Mine is still alive but still struggling. I'm hoping that now, with a good fungicide program and an insecticide that has been helpful I can get it going well again soon.

Paph spicerianum, a Paph which actually reblooms for me! Smiling I have a group of other Paphs which just sit there, trying to look cute.

Love the little froggy face in the middle of that one. I have it also, a gift from some visitors a couple of years ago. It did re-bloom for me last year, a minor miracle in Florida for a Paph. But is looking terribly sad this year so I haven't a lot of hope this time.

that's a gorgeous Paph..Ursula...and the background really shows it off nicely. It reminds me of one of those vintage postcards from some tropical and exotic local!
Carol, your Bc. Maikaii mayumi is gorgeous...and big Mama "Snow Ballet" still going strong! I'll have to ask my friend
in NC that inherited mine how it is doing for him.

I had a good day working with Lindsey in the garden today. We moved and spread 10 cubic yards of mulch and managed to do it in just 3 and a half hours. The cool morning gave way to a beautiful day for this type of work. I hope Lindsey is suffering no ill affects.

Speaking of cool mornings, they are calling for a low of 39 degrees tonight. Where is my blankie?

Ibis...that's an understatement!..I usually have better luck on cloudy days with that color..but today was pure sunshine..
All my plants are still inside..and this afternoon was gorgeous..I SO wanted to move everyone back out to the bench, but its supposed to get down to the low 40's tonight...maybe tomorrow..for just a day. The weekend is supposed to get cold again and I'll be out of town.

Rhynchonopsis Suree 'See's' This was one of my original plants from 2009 or 10

Rudd, Have all the Masdevallia been moved to Dracula? I think the Dracula's are fascinating and was thinking of trying one. I got my first Masdevallia last April at the Sacramento (California) Orchid Society Show. So far, it's alive Hurray!

I first tried the Masdevallia in my greenhouse but decided it was too hot. Now it's living inside in my window sill in a glass vase with a dish on top to keep the humidity on the inside in an east facing window. This time of year, the sun is far enough south that it doesn't hit the plant but I am thinking I should move it to a north window in the spring. The old leaves are dying but new leaves are growing, making me think I am doing something right.

@RuuddeBlock, @piksihk and @DaisyI

I hope you don't object too much, I had Dave combine RuuddeBlock's post and following combined with this monthly thread in the hope of directing more attention to Daisy's question regarding Draculas and Masdevallias. The original thread started on Jan 18.
