RobinD said:Well, you are certainly well-organized, Rita.....any tag that stays on the plant & is readable is a good one....

These will work as I am sure they will last till fall and that is all I care about.

I've tried many different ones.....usually, I rake them out, or pull them up, or the squirrels scatter them.....or poodles.....Nicki pulled up all my lily markers last summer....

Well, I only need these plant tags to last till Fall. By that time I will have taken pictures, harvested and taste tested. I will have decided just which ones I want to plant again next year and which might not return in my garden. After all there will be new tomato varieties to grow.

A friend of a neighbor from down the street was walking by the other day while I was out with Lily in my front yard. I have seen him before but never before stopped to chat. So he sees Lily and said she often barks at him from my front window. Saw all the tomato cages and flapping tags flying in the wind. Asked me what I was growing. Told him tomatoes. Plenty of Tomatoes! Hilarious!

Pretty good chance that he will get some this summer as I give away tomatoes to anyone I even somewhat know! Besides he was very nice and a friend of the nice lady down the street.

This is a raised bed in my backyard. I am growing yellow cherry tomatoes here. Used to be all daylilies up here but I moved that front row into the back. Still will be daylilies in back of those tomato cages.

Yes, I got them outside fairly often in March as it was warm. Now I can't wait till it warms up again so I can put them out in the daytime again.

I did bring all the seedlings outdoors this morning. The fresh air and light will do them good. The forecast is good for daytime highs for as long as it went out on Weather Underground. So I can take my seedlings out each day from now on.

I would have liked it slightly warmer for them today but I thought they really needed to go out. And the temps should go higher these next few days.

Back outside again already today. It will do them a world of good to be spending their days outside. Of course they all come in at night.

Spent the day working in the garden. I did get my radishes planted in ground. Turnips and beets I tried in cell packs again as my earlier first attempts died.

The Cilantro has popped up and the Bok Choi popped up long ago. I put all those cellpacks outside to stay. They are staying on this table overnight too.
