My first ever Iris I bought a year ago Iris germanica 'White knight'. Since I'm focussing on white and blue/purple colored flowers I wanted another white Siberian iris. I came across a lovely one with some yellow named 'Snow queen'. Together with the aforementioned there's a chess theme developping :p And every queen needs some knights haha

Melba Hamblen used to pick some lovely names like Sunset Sonata, Coral Clouds, Lilac Flame, Glorious Sunshine, and Silent Majesty. They were very nice iris also.
I always loved the beards on Witches Wand. I see it all the time in the Schreiner's catalog, and have somehow not yet bought it. Sure looks pretty as a clump.
