This sedum was sold as Sedum 'Fine Gold Leaf'. I have it growing about 2 feet away from Sedum 'Gold Digger'. I thought when I got them they looked like the same plant. They still look like the same plant to me.

The name of S. 'Fine Gold Leaf' photos on the web show it as looking identical to Sedum hispanicum 'Aureum' and Sedum japonicum 'Tokyo Sun', which also look to be the same plant, just different names.

It really is a beauty Cameron, and very tough. At least for me in the PNW.

I would say about medium growth rate. I am not really sure because mine is planted in a hole in a cement block. It might fill in quite quickly in say two years, if you put cuttings space about 4 inches apart for the area you want covered. It seems the first year is spent making roots.

Oh that is easy to do Camerson. Take out part of the lawn. Actually you don't need to take the lawn out, just lay cardboard, put a piece of hardware cloth and start stacking the blocks and fill with diret. Hurray!

Lynn yes your sedum isn't 'Fine gold leaf' but it does look like a rupestra similar to Angelina, of which there are several like 'Sea Gold' and several other names I've seen, and maybe they have slight differences in coloration but are basically Angelina (just my opinion) Thumbs up Or are the stems and leaves smaller than on Angelina?
Cameron, hooray for a new project! Hurray!

Greg, if you look closely you will see that leaves are arranged very much like Sedum sexangular. It is definitely not a rupestre type.
I sure can get confusing though with all the names being incorrect. Sad

Wow, Greg, that sure is some good eye candy. Drooling Our days of such green glory are still a bit away, although I know many of us are due for the warm-up this week. I'm guessing that's a nice patch of s. acre in the middle shot? You should be sure to post both as a multi-plant photo for all to enjoy. I tip my hat to you.

Greg you are more than welcome to starts on that sedum. You will become quite fond of it. Your sedum beds are really coming alive. Hurray!
This sedum would look wonderful in there.

Sean the wait will be more than worth it. Then we will be able to watch yours coming out of dormancy. Hurray!
