Ron Scamp still grows Spellbinder http://qualitydaffodils.com/sp...
Ships worldwide and has an amazing selection of daffodils but shipping and phyto is very expensive.

I'll be darned Sallysmom it DOES have some yellow. I blame this error on aged eyes or else not paying closer attention. Now if Erlicheer's blooms are 1 inch we might be in business. I'll buy some this fall and compare. Thanks for the suggestion!

I thought it looked like a match to Erlicheer too Thumbs up

I was just on the porch looking out over the garden and noticed in the clump of what is supposed to be Spellbinder daffodils there was a bloom with a long, flaring trumpet that I was expecting! I thought maybe @jmorth was right, and that the blooms are continuing to develop and showing their true features. Upon closer inspection I found that this bloom just opened this morning and is indeed Spellbinder! Hurray! Unfortunately, it is the only correct bulb of the 10, but I'll be happy to baby this one along in its own spot and let it increase into a clump Smiling

Neal you get your one Spellbinder and I get one Charlotte Bishop ipheion. Not exactly a win win but at least it's a taste of what they should be. And I possibly have some Erlicheer. Since these daffs come up as a mix I need to ID them before they fade. I may have some Yellow Cheerfulness in there too. Sticking tongue out

I left for spring break 1 week ago, with most bulbs just beginning to emerge, and came home yesterday to a garden in full bloom. Here's my front garden.

I did miss several on my bulbs blooming, some of the tulips, and N. Jetfire. It was so warm with temps in the 80's, and very dry.

I'm thankful we're back home to enjoy the rest of the blooms.

Thanks Terri and Neal!

Neal, I'm loving the color echo of the pink tulips with Pink Charm. I hope PC continues to multiply and fill in the area.

Here are a few blooms from this morning.

My tulip Kingsblood planted in fall of 2014 came back and is blooming nicely.

Annette, it all looks so pretty. Everything is blooming for you many weeks than what I will see here. Nice camellia too. I have a real soft spot for garden art so I am loving the St Francis statue.

@Cem9165 Wow! huge display of gorge4ous spring bulbs. . . and your talent for composition (matching dif. types / colors) makes for an even more iimpressive display!!

I don't have the "composition" gene, but I recognize and WISH I could do it, too!
