Here is one of my all time favorite daylilies so far - SEMAC by Jack Carpenter. Kind of a yellow-orange polychrome, plastic-like substance, and I just love the form!

This is one i've always wondered what color most folks consider it to be. Yellow? Peach? Peachy-pink? It's listed as orange on another site, I don't see how but OK. I guess thats why it was named what it was....and well named at that. :)
