Beautiful yellows! I am a huge fan of reds, but it seems to take a yellow to offset the darker colors. I wish i had more than the 4 I currently have. This thread is giving me an idea of some to add in the future. Thanks for posting these wonderful photos.~ Jan

Oh I do love that beauty with the green throat. It just looks so inviting. Also love Golden child with the pale accents and the ruffled bagel form. I dod like the bagel form but then I like a lot of forms. Can't pin me down to 1

I have had a few nice yellows over the years, some are now gone and looking at the images again now makes me wish I still had them now that I have more room. I need some of those brighter ones!

The yellows with the green throats are really starting to intrigue me.
I need to stop looking at all these pictures !!!

When I was a kid, there was an old house near our school that had these yellow daylilies that grew almost 6 feet tall. Hundreds of them. We would marvel at them when we walked by there. I've never seen them since. IF I'm correct, they also had a fragrance.

Mike the green throat is so attractive with so many colors-reds,pinks,white or cream,purple,etc. Just gives a whole different look. I still like the yellow and peach throats though as I like a variety.

Wish I could remember the name of this one...but it's yellow, has a yellow-gold edge, with a soft pink-peach to it and the lovely green throat. It's one of my favorites.

Mike, the tall ones you saw were probably species. Look up Altissima and Citrina. (on iPad and can't do links easily right now)
