As we've all seen from the photos on this thread and from others in the past, polys can be stunningly beautiful. I wish more hybridizers were interested in working with them. If that were the case, I'll bet eventually polys would become wildly popular, especially if we were to get to a point where most new creations are 100% poly.

The poly of Mirror Mirror is pretty cool.
I haven't worked with polys much...my only poly registration was a happy accident. With the new found popularity of working with diploids in general there seems to be a bit of interest in working with dip polys. Don Herrs' program is producing some really nice diploid introductions. On the tet side, it is difficult to find tet polys to work with that show the poly percentages recorded.

Found another poly bloom today...

Little Sumpin', I walked past it I don't know how many times before noticing it was poly D'Oh! Just glad I had time to take an image before it got fried....94f here today.

Another poly on Inwood. It has had a lot of poly blooms this year. Not sure if it does this every year, but I would say that at least 30-40% were poly.

Leslie, this is the second year of bloom for Buffalo Bill in my garden. All blooms this year were single. Sad

Stunning blooms. Goodness, I could handle that Kryptonite. Want, desire, covet. But it is not over here.

For me, one of the fun things about hybridizing is to discover something amazing that I somehow had overlooked. Here is a poly seedling whose dead scape I checked today, only to discover that it had 7-way branching!

The old Northfield bloomed a beautiful poly today in the rain. Not only do I love the flower, it has wonderful fragrance.

Love those polys! Thanks for the pics. This is my first this year: Dragon Fury, a 2015 Polston. The branching is the1st pic. I counted 30 buds. Nice.
