Hello everyone! At Mike's invitation I'm posting the FFE on one of my seedlings:

Thumb of 2016-08-08/LarryR/6496bb
FFE on Tet Malachite Prism X Tet Malachite Prism

I did this cross just for fun and wasn't expecting much. My expectations were on target, except for this poly. I'll have to see what percentage of the blooms are polys. But even then, it's probably not future registration material. It has only two-way branching and 6 buds. I will grow it on though, hoping that next year will bring more blooms.

Here is another poly seedling (Lillians' Crazy Arms X Ruth Whitten) that bloomed for the first time this year:

Thumb of 2016-08-08/LarryR/d381b8
Poly

The bloom has great substance, especially for a diploid. The color is an unusual blend of champagne with a pink blush. About 50% of the blooms polyed.

Loving all the new poly blooms! Those big green throats really make for some cool polys. I don't buy many diploids anymore, just a hybridizing preference for tets, but Kryptonite is one on the very long list of "wants".

I've been watching a big 5 x 5 bud for the past few days wondering when it would pop open and hoping it would open nicely.

Hidden Cameras..

Working on the final folders of images and found a few poly blooms in the seedlings...
Thumb of 2016-08-08/Char/0fc89c

The clump of this seedling started out as sculpted form, then a week of multiform (sculpted and polymerous), then back to sculpted form.
Thumb of 2016-08-08/Char/9369fc

This new seedling had all poly blooms...first year... and it only had 6 buds Rolling my eyes. I'll move it to a keep bed and watch it to see what it does. The 6 poly's could have been simply a seedling with a weird sense of humor. Whistling

Could someone give me the website that has the cultivars listed with the % that they bloom poly. I would greatly appreciate that Hurray!

I love it when they poly. I am glad some are working to make them more consistent.

The easiest way to see all registered poly's with the registration percentage is using the AHS database advanced search and click on "Polymerous". This brings up all 280 registered polys.

You can also use the NGA database Search by Characteristics feature and find polys with images from the members and links to the AHS database registration info for each cultivar.

Another site I found several years ago has the registered polys listed by percentage with the highest to lowest, but appears to have not been updated in some time.

Yes, now I remember it was that website from Bobby Baxter. I don't see any recent polys listed Angry

Thanks for the tip on finding info on the AHS. It is just loaded with dl info if you know how to use it correctly Hurray!

Wowzer! Seriously folks, what a show of polys! I am blown away! These are some seriously amazing beauties! I could look over and over again at many of those photos! The only real poly I see here is Lillian's Crazy Arms which I am sure throws a LOT of poly blooms! I bet it passes that trait on to some of it's children, too!?
