Those are beautiful blooms!

Mike, I love your analogy. That is exactly what has been happening for years. I just keep adding to the greenhouse space. This year I have a shortage of hanging space. I elevated them with an upturned pot underneath. When they loose their names, sometimes they get potted together. Most of the time, I just keep finding 1 more. LOL I keep everything in the back yard because the front yard is just not as comfy. I need to be more creative with my use of space in the back yard though. The family joke is, "oops, I kept too many". hahaha
Hubby would be happy if I quit growing the epis and just grew Easter and Christmas Cactus. LOL It may well be a "collective/hoarding" type thing for me. I love them and there are so many, so it is easy to convince myself I need one I don't already have. I love to trade and do occasionally sell some plants but I don't try very hard to sell many.

I am not finding any more buds, but hopefully some are going to be late bloomers.

My last noid bloom for the season! For the first time a bloom in the middle of our ongoing heat wave. This particular container has been generous this year, with a bloom in April, then in May, and this is the last Lovey dubby

Thanks Mike! I just wish it is not too hot, I see now it is fast wilting..just too hot for it. We are at 98F at this moment, humidity at 17%, still expected to go 103F later. Rolling my eyes.

JB, after my season is done, maybe yours will be its turn. Smiling

This one here was bought many years ago as Gitti Paetz, but I think it is probably Roger Paetz. (Paetzold is a famous hybridizer and he created a lot of beautiful Epis.)
Through the grid of the cage and a bloom on a second plant -

I still have some blooms coming.

This is the second bloom on the orange noid from my sister.

This is a close up of the center showing the bright pink.
My first posting didn't do it justice. Even this is not as bright as it really is.

This is the second bloom of the little pink one from my sister showing the 'daffodil cup' shape.
Thumb of 2016-06-06/coboro/d0a594

This is the last bud on my red Ackermani cross (from my sister).
It's a little faded from being in the morning sun.
Thumb of 2016-06-06/coboro/7143db

The light pink NoID in the backyard is still blooming.
I never saw this bud until it bloomed. There were several that opened.

I never saw this pink NoID bud until it bloomed.
It has been in a 1 gallon pot with many different NoIDs for years. I don't remember it from the past.
It may be a first bloom for us. I need to repot them and try to separate them. There are three very overgrown pots.
That might mean another 30 to 40 pots of epiphyllums.

Very nice, Carl! I love the colors on that first one! I have three orange ones, but none have that fushia colored center.

I dead head my epis every few days and take notes of how many blooms of which variety I have enjoyed. This is the third year records have been kept on an Excel spread sheet by month.
This year I have been cutting the blooms off beyond where the fruit would form so here and there I'm seeing the swelling of seed pods. 99% of time I don't know who has crossed with who.
However this one fruit I do know is Vern Pettinger x Grand Prize. I hand pollinated and they were the only two blooms out in that area. It will take a couple of months to ripen and then I have a decision to make. Raise seedlings again?

This one is Giganteus. One of the largest bamboos available. Last year had two new shoots from a one gallon pot. This year it has this new 5 inch wide cane. Within four years canes will be 8 inches across and 60ft high. Good job they don't bloom like Epis. Blooms would be 2 ft across. (hey, gotta do something between epi care)

Another pink NoID hidden in the back behind the foliage next to the fence. It's coming from the three old pots again but not the same pot.

The orange one will be open tomorrow morning.
The yellow and white one has a bunch more blooms.
