I have a question: how do we view who has placed dibs on our items?

thanks!

When you go to the tool and click on the swap, you'll see several options, including "view your bought items" and "view your sold items," or something like that, and it even shows how many there are of each. You click on those options to see a detailed list.

Does anyone have any sedum ternatum? i haven't had much luck with it in the past but I have a new spot I want to try out.

Ornamental oregano is another one I've tried several times with no success. I almost bought one at a nursery yesterday as I was looking for another Tiger Eyes sumac to replace mine. Has anyone had any luck with oregano Kents Beauty?

Jill, I have a hunk of pink spiderwort for you. I dug last night.

I'll bring a sample of sedum; I think someone shared ternatum with me in the past, so one might be that. Anyone need Angelina or Blue spruce sedum? Very vigorous, have to keep them in check, so why not share...
Plant it and they will come.

ooh, Sally, thanks!

Nope, no Sedum ternatum here, but it looks like a great one for ground cover! http://www.missouribotanicalga...

Love Angelina and Blue Spruce! Need to get some going along the path in the back, I think... I keep trying to get dianthus established there, but that isn't working yet... sedum would fill the gap... thanks for prompting me to think of where to plant my starts! Any extra you bring won't go to waste. :-)

Speaking of vigorous groundcovers, if anybody needs an effortless one, I have plenty of that low-growing chartreause one with yellow blooms... just grab a handful and sprinkle it where you want it. Seriously. I'll put it on my list as a "grab and bag" on swap day. If you want some in a pot, LMK.

I'm going to be ordering some scalpels to use when dividing plants by the end of the week. They're $8.00 for a box of 10. They are individually packed and sterile, #11 blade.

Let me know if anyone wants any. If I order within the next couple of days, I should have them in time to bring to the swap.

no, it's the sedum... I have it by my mailbox... It's available every swap, LOL. I do have some golden creeping jenny, but it's making a comeback after nearly dying out (I know, I know, I thought you couldn't kill it with a stick!).

SSG, got you on the markers. Sharpie has a new "extreme" marker, specifically meant to be fade-resistant under outside conditions, so that's the one I'll order. The silver metallic is unchanged.

I listed the markers, moisture crystals, extra caladiums, etc. on my post on the haves/wants thread. Smiling

@sallyg do you have a picture of that ground cover by chance?
“Little girl, why are you doing this? You can’t save all these starfish. You can’t begin to make a difference!” After a few moments thought, she bent down, picked up another starfish & hurled it as far as she could into the ocean. Then she looked up at the man and replied, “Well, I made a difference to that one!” Be the change you wish to see in the world. http://www.stillsthatspeak.com...

thx Jill, remind me to stop at your mailbox and yank some. :)

Disclosure note about my Black and Blue Salvia for Lisa, David, Terri ssg= It's been fussy, so what I am doing is potting new runners that are coming up with roots (hopefully). It grows from tubers but the clumps of tubers I moved are being reallll ll ll y slow showing new leaves. I have loads of extra runners coming up from their previous location. Happy to share, just not sure what they'll look like this year.

I think I made a couple 'buys' on the swap tool, after being confused about the star ratings thingie...
Plant it and they will come.

golden creeping jenny?

CHantell, part of that post was a copied, unlabeled quote from Jill. So sorry! That's really confusing. So Jill has the low growing chartreuse, and we both have golden creeping jenny. I will try to post a picture of creeping jenny today. ( Which I can share by the way)
Plant it and they will come.

I'll snap a photo of that groundcover sedum and put it on my haves list. I bet you'll recognize it! And I'll stop throwing away what I'm pulling out of beds where it's migrated... I can make a tray of it instead.

Holly, the stars are for your "wish list" ratings... mostly useful if you want to flag things as you go through the whole list for the swap... Once trading has started, it's not really needed. As you figured out, giving something stars isn't the same as putting "dibs" on it. To "buy" it or put "dibs" on it, you have to click the treasure chest icon. Once it's yours, you'll see a green-circled checkmark by the item when you look down the list of offerings.
