I agree It is both beautiful and special. Lovey dubby

Found stinky rot on my newly planted 'World Premier' - fortunately it had not reached the rhizome and I have removed all the affected foliage, so here's hoping! Crossing Fingers! Crossing Fingers! Crossing Fingers!

Hoping for the best Lilli. Not sure I could send you World Premiere too, but I have some.

I don't know what is going on with my front garden but I am losing both Guise and Awake. Crying I think I waited too long to take care of the roly poly problem. Not sure though. And all over my gardens I have been having one small fan get soggy and shrivel up. No rot smell. Most have left me with potato rhizomes. Clotho's Web is the exception in that the spot where the center fan shriveled has now been growing a new fan. Ironically that one didn't need that fan as it has 10 increases along the sides.

And no rain after too much rain has been very rough on my iris.

I've had a similar thing happen in France with my refrigeration-rot irises, Leslie. Many lost their main fan but have side increases, a few have started growing a new fan from the central spot as well. I was hoping that the others will follow suit!

I fly back to France on Wednesday, so it will be interesting to see how they have fared. I hope your Guise and Awake decide to get better. Crossing Fingers!

I've lost so many Irises this year because of the un-ending rain, that when I found an area in Iris Lane with no visible leaves or rhizomes, I pulled the marker. While weeding a couple days ago, I found small green leaves growing from a virtually invisible rhizome, where the marker is long gone. So -- now I have a NOID in Iris Lane!!! Sad Shrug!

At least it will only be a temporary NoID? I was mapping one of the new gardens and found that I did not give a marker to one of the iris. D'Oh! I think it is probably the SDB Low Tide, but I won't know until it blooms. Gads.

I've made several "temporary noids" this year, too.....it comes with the territory whenever you move, replant, or treat any Shrug! .
Although I have a few (maybe 6-8) that I had treated / relocated, that never survived, I have seen no signs of any rot problems Thumbs up .....which is a GREAT improvement over what I was seeing last year, at this time ! Of the "new" plants (both replacements, and "new to me"), I have only three that "didn't take".....just dried up, instead of growing......so maybe 2%, which I don't think is too bad ! And they were all pretty "iffy" looking when I received them.
