Grumbling Temp reached 25f by noon and the white stuff came down light and steady all day. Almost done now, just spitting the occasional flake. If this was Nov. and not April I'd have thought it was pretty. The bright side...the wind stopped blowing and the winter coat is back in the closet Thumbs up

Yup, exactly not like that!!!

All I can think of is spring so I really don't want any snow here. But I think we are finished for the season. No more snow.

They are calling for a high of 87F. You know that temperatures like that do not thrill me to the utmost. That means it will be around 90F at my house. We always get a spell of brutally hot weather in April. Now if only we'd get a spell of cool weather in August, but life isn't fair.

Hilarious! Linda, it would be like taking ice cream out of the freezer and putting in an oven.

We started out at 7f and made it to 25f by noon, the sun felt warm. Suppose to be cold tonight again, but only down into the teens. I'm actually glad we had the snow yesterday (did I really just say that Blinking ) it gave a little cover to the plants that have started to grow. Duma gave me a dirty look when I went out to feed her this morning.......

Char, is Duma shedding? I'm thinking mine used to be by now - and took a dim view of late cold weather as a consequence.

We actually made it up to 32F today but have a snow storm on the way for tomorrow. Crying

Last week when we were almost 70f it was warmer outside than inside! Better bring your woolies Linda Whistling

The thermometer is showing 14f this morning, a bit better than yesterday. Yes, Duma has shedded all but the long hair on her belly and legs. I thought she knew what she was doing, apparently not. Normally we only get a few more colder days when she sheds, but nothing like this year has been.

The image of the swans is beautiful, Philip!

Cold, rain, wind. The only reason I'm not too unhappy is I don't want the fruit trees to blossom and it be too cold for the bees to be out. If it slides into warm weather at the end of the month and stays warm, I'll be so happy!

Signet,
Yes, I think it's Scilla bifolia. I got it from the yard of an old person after they passed and the house hadn't sold yet. I love the color!

I have some of that Scilla blooming now. Once you have it, it stays with you and hard to get rid of.

Hem,
My trouble is it doesn't seem to grow where I put it in the bed, and I try to put it by something I won't be digging around, but to have them pop up all over the yard or see a big clump growing across the road in the weeds drives me crazy!
