Awe, thank you. Lily really is my sweetie and my little buddy. We spend most of our time together and are rarely apart.

I like to take her on long walks. I enjoy it unless the weather is horrible. And I know she really loves to go. Yesterday on our walk she was a sniffing machine, just going along and sniffing at everything. Plus we had to stop often for extended sniffing.

Anyway now we shouldn't need to go back to the Vets until around her birthday time next year for her yearly checkup.

Need to get one of the kids to help me...he's not too bad about it, but I would really hate to hurt him. Hard for me to believe that he'll be 15 on the 19th. and Onyx will be 10 the week before....time sure flies by

Hi guys. Just catching up on this thread. I've been away since Dave changed to that horrible blue font. Gives me headaches and eye strain, but it doesn't bother me quite so much since my cataract surgery.

My little Shadow is off to WSU for his 6-month cancer check-up. Got fingers crossed that they don't find anything! Came across this cute pic of him from back in 2009:

The blue font on the home page used for the subject headings for watched threads and forums. Don't tell me there's a way to change it that I don't know about?! It drives me nuts!

no, I don't think there's any way to change it. I think anything that is a "clickable link" is in blue.

And the worst is that some of the text is darker, for no apparent reason. Or at least no readily discernible reason. Irritates me so much that I don't spend nearly as much time here as I used to. Oh well, picky picky me.

Aaaaaannnnnnddddd.......The good news is that it's all good news for Shadow! Now for our next trick, all we have to do is get DH and Shadow home in one piece ahead of the nasty snow storm that is supposed to hit this evening. They still have a couple of hours of driving to get home. I haven't heard much in the way of details, but DH said the doctors said it was all good. Happy dance!

Yea! They're home. Poor Shadow has a shaved belly from his ultrasound, but otherwise everything is fine.

Fortunately, he seems to grow his hair back fairly quickly, unlike some malamutes. Took a solid year for my other dog to grow his belly hair back after an ultrasound!
