karen....
I'm surprised at you! I thought cleaning my oven was number one on your 'to do' list! I waited patiently but when you didn't show I had to do it myself after I cleaned the floor
Thanks a lot girlfriend!
Yah know, burnt cheese and flour is a rather interesting innovation. I think I'm going to turn the chemical world on its head once I patent it.
---I've discovered it would make an most excellent replacement for epoxy glue.
---It is 'green' but not biodegradable.
---It is impervious to cleaning chemicals as it can not be destroyed.
---It adheres to metal, glass casserole dishes, plastic and lower cabinet doors (don't ask). I have proved this theory beyond a doubt as I have to clean the oven door and metal racks once again today.
---I also found it is a great substitution for tile floor grout. It is stronger, binds better and unlike grout is far more difficult to chip away at despite vigorous scraping with a spatula and butter knife.
---I'm sure if one were to master the exact ratio of cheese to Italian bread crumbs, scalded milk and over cooked noodles it would make an most excellent spackle or mortar or new type of plastic.
---It would also replace coal as a fossil fuel as this substance is just as compact and dense, burns far longer and has no CO2 emissions.
My recipe's only downfall is when ingested it must be followed immediately by two rather large glasses of Scotch to reverse its adverse effects. There's a most curious but pleasant side effect to this remedy.
The Scotch takes over immediately and the indigestible mac 'n cheese poisoning is rendered ineffective.
The Scotch acts as an agent to eliminate the foul taste and alters one's sense of reality and perception when ever you walk into the kitchen.
I have yet to discover if vodka is as effective.
Now if only I can find a way to eliminate the burnt mac 'n cheese smell and reduce the amount of smoke when it burns and figure out how to recycle the waste I'll be a billionaire.
See what you missed out on! If you were here to help clean out my oven, you could have taken half the credit and royalties for these discoveries.
As for socks we forgot to mention one of my all time favorites...cashmere!
