My dryer died today but I think it is either the heating coil or a small fuse that controls high heat situations. I saw a you tube and both look pretty simple to replace but.......to find the time while the wash will graze the ceiling

I have a love / hate relationship with YouTube. Now, I don't have any excuse for not learning how to do some repairs ... like fixing a dripping faucet .. Sighing!

Of course, it never goes as smoothly for me as it does on the videos I watch to learn how to do the repair.
I'd rather weed than dust ... the weeds stay gone longer.

Grumpy because it's been raining - a lot - since yesterday. We need the rain and it's slow enough to soak in but the timing is awful!! Better than when we were doing the floor and lots of stuff was on the patio but I wish it would have waited until after Christmas.

I'm still recovering from the cold but should be OK for my Santa gig on Christmas. Tony is in the storage shed looking for the box with my Santa costume. It's taking him a while so I'm glad I gave up quickly yesterday. He's moved a lot of stuff around so has a much better chance of finding it. And with the rain I told him he can take as long as it takes as there's not a lot else he can do!!

For myself, I'm going back to bed to rest. My inclination is to overdo since I feel a lot better but I'm resisting.

Inky Dink doesn't like the rain. She wasn't here before we had roofs.

Been trying to sell a like new, but used toy missing some pieces (all replaceable in toy stores). Spent $200 on it, and I'm down to offering $50 and nobody wants it. I hate when I lose money especially this time of year when I need it.

Maybe you should replace the parts before trying to sell it. Most people do not want to buy broken things.

Missing pieces, NOT broken. It's missing toy tools, it's a very large toy kids workbench. I reduced the Original price to $100 at first instead of $200. If they buy tools everything else is there.

I'd certainly think someone would want that for $50, Keith... have things gotten so bad that kids only want electronics?

We have 3 grandsons and all they want is electronics. When they were toddlers they had a work bench with tools that they enjoyed. I'd think that someone would want it at such a discounted price.

Maybe call it a "child's potting bench" and throw in a couple of garden tools...

People are very picky about what they buy, only the best here. I forgot to mention I included a remote control car, brand new $50 value, still no interest. Mine isn't good enough Mabye. Really sad... also the fact I've seen others sell the exact thing for more but mine is overlooked, Mabye being a man, everyone else we're moms selling.

Wow, no one has been grumpy since Christmas eve! I almost don't want to ruin it.

I knew I was more than likely going to to be home slightly late. I left both of the balcony doors hanging wide open so that JUST IN CASE Ace dog just HAD to go to the bathroom and couldn't hold it for an extra hour. I come home, with Matt, (who is super exhausted after being stuck in an airport for literally 24 hours due to flight cancellations), walk into the bedroom and there is a HUGE, bright yellow spot in the very middle of the bed--which is made with white just washed sheets.

Really?!!?! You had 3 floors of open house and two balconies, and you choose to pee in the middle of the bed?! Angry Grumbling Angry
I am not an early bird or a night owl--I am some form of permanently exhausted pigeon

Unbelievable, James. I could see a cat doing that, but it's odd for a dog! I assume you have a mattress protector, or at least I hope you do!

I agree about the mattress protector.
