Finally slept with little coughing! 10 hrs!!!!!!!

I'm thankful the year is winding down. I'm hoping for a better weather wise year next year!

Thankful DD is in surgery and it will soon be over and she can get back to feeling better.

I ask that when you are busy during your day., . and turn your eyes up for a bit of reflection...that you send her your good thoughts for a quick recovery.
I truly believe that there is some basic connection traveling through time and space between is all..stretching from one to the other to the other . an invisible primitive timeless biological circuit ..

The quicker this cuckoo bird of a child is up and running the faster I can beat it outta Dodge! She gave birth to two demon children that never slow down. This morning Emme showed me a " project" that we will work on when she gets home from preK and Ben wants me to play something called Escape Room ( uh oh ) and son in law and I went to the nursery and picked up 3 Dorothy Wykoff pieris, three summer- something windflowers, one tall and one short golden cypress,..coral bells... and he planted two Japanese maple in soggy areas and those need cutting back and replant and there is a patch of blue star amsonia that the dummies planted AN INCH APART... and so I am to help with that..,fix dinner,.. and keep the wee one from missing her mom who is THE ONLY one who knows how to fix eggs the right way...MAGIC EGGS.?? huh?? " I WANT MAGIC EGGS GRAM..." Well, where the HELL IS THAT RECIPE.??

Yea! And the doc who was saying " nay" actually took the right ovary along with the rest..... double yea!

I will certainly send my eyes & thoughts Heavenward, Rosie.
Now that everything's "gone", she'll be able to get on with life and teach you about Magic Eggs.......

Hope all goes well with recovery And praying sanity for you and grandchildren Every now and then I tell my one daughter "paybacks" when one of her kids do something that reminds me of when she was little I'm finding that our children do NOT raise their kids the way we did. Some I agree with and some I don't - it's the keeping my mouth shut about it that's the problem! Keep us posted on your DD and let us know when you are home and back to your own "stuff"

Rosie - how is the DD after her surgery and how are YOU doing?

Well we went out to celebrate my birthday early this weekend.
We went down to Praires Edge casino by Granite Falls and then over Morton at the Jackpot Junction casino.

I lost all the money in my pocket and all that she gave me for my birthday but she won enough that the trip cost her nothing and gave her some extra spending money so I am hapy.
I was down over two hundred dollars but played a "penny" computer slot machine. I was betting two bucks a shot, on a penny machine because I was so sick of losing I wanted to do it quickly.
Well I was actually up about seventy bucks and got greedy so I quit when I still had enough to pay her back money I had borrowed beyond my birthday gift and was happy at that.

Rpr - first off - Happy Birthday!! This reminds me of several years back when we took my mother-in-law to the casino since that's her favorite entertainment. I personally would prefer a new pair of shoes I had a limit of not losing more than about $40 (if recollection serves me) and after I lost that fairly quickly I was watching her on the slot machines - she plays 2 at a time. She insisted the one machine was paying and that I play it. I told her I wasn't spending any more money so she gave me a cup of her quarters to play with and I lost all of it too Needless to say she deems me unlucky and has never let me play with her money again And this is why I would rather buy shoes

I'd rather buy anything than gamble the money away. I am very unlucky at it.
