I am very thankful I don't have to work anymore and need to be out in the aftermath of the snow storm.

I'm thankful that I had a wonderful 40 minute walk in the sunshine; still chilly (for Florida standards) but no longer blustery.

I'm thankful for having had a wonderful three day visit with my niece Elizabeth, whom I had not seen in twenty years. We had a few good meals together and vegged a lot. Highlight was yesterday's visit to Dog Beach where we met a number of friendly dogs and people. She had a car pick her up to take her to the airport an hour ago.

My last instruction to her was to get a passport so she can visit me in Mexico. (She was born in Canada which seems to be a problem.)

I'm thankful for my time in Kaiser facilities and all the tests they did. My 75 year chcek-up and I can return to Mexico feeling much better about my physical condition and with ways to deal with the breathing problems.

And, I, too, am thankful that Debra is doing OK after her misadventures. I've had days like that. Sometimes I have to yell at myself: "STOP!" and lie down or get on the computer or something else calming and non-dangerous

I'm also grateful that my friend and neighbor Dana sent pictures of me in my Santa Suit, my newest dog Inky Dink and a beautiful sunrise.

lovemyhouse said:I am thankful that when I caught a toe in the floor covering by the French doors in back this morning, I didn't fall face first into those glass panes.

I am thankful that the half bowl of soup I dumped on my lap this afternoon had cooled down enough to only be uncomfortably warm.

I am thankful that when my favorite small bowl flipped out of my hand this evening, where it landed on the counter and shattered, no glass pieces dropped into the pan of Blondies I pulled out of the oven two minutes before.

...I am hopeful that tomorrow will be just a weeee bit more coordinated. Whistling Hilarious! Whistling

I am thankful that the snow storm is over, that the sun is shining and that we did not loose power. Last night at around midnight when I went to sleep, last numbers where only about 800 without power still in Nassau and Suffolk counties here on Long Island. I really was surprised at such a low number. NJ apparently had well over 8,000 outages at that time. Yup, thankful that the power stayed on.

I am thankful that the sun is shining on bright white snow and that neither of my whirly bike wheel things got blown over. The fan blades are a pain to straighten.

Thank you, Rosie. Big Grin While I do make a few of my own, most of them I get from scouring Facebook everyday for funnies to send to my sister--some good ones out there.

Beautiful views.

I am thankful I got the patio restocked with wood before it started raining.
I'd rather weed than dust ... the weeds stay gone longer.

Today I'm thankful that the snow storm is over and melting has commenced ... lots of melting. Rain is on the way tonight so that should just about wrap it up.
I garden for the pollinators.

We aren't at the melting point yet but I am thankful the storm is over, the sun is shining, and the roads are driveable.

Yes, indeed. I was a California girl for 40 years and this kind of weather was foreign to me.

I am thankful that I was able to get up and take a shower and wash my hair and get dressed before DH left for work. Otherwise it is lonely coming downstairs and there is no one here.

Today I am thankful I did not tear off my hubby's sweet head when after my complaining to him about his throwing wet towels on my basket of clean sheets ....his response was " well, what is clean LAUNDRY DOING in the LAUNDRY room??....

Sighing!
