Quite a production line! They look like happy plants.

I love the 2-liter plastic "cloches".

Daniel, I do have some seedlings, but I am new to that. I think KY is a great area for dls. It is not the extreme weather of the north or south. Kirchhoff and Morris moved Daylily World here several years ago. It is awesome!

Love the 2 liter idea, I would have never thought of that. Have you had any luck with clematis? I may try air layering. I have some that my family would like a start of.

I'm not too big on vines, I grow a few fruiting vines but no ornamentals. They should layer easily using the pot trick to air layer them just keep the pot watered I used a lot of mulch aslo. with some plants that root easily you don't even need any rooting hormone.

Ken, I received the mother plumeria at a swap- no name was given. You think it may be Celadine?

If you know the fragrance of the Celadine, that's almost a give-away. Show a couple of photos of a mature leaf margin/border, and I can tell you.

Betsy, I decided to try a shrimp plant since you said it was easy. It took!! Hurray!

Also, I put a gardenia flower in a tiny vase and forgot about it. Went to change it out yesterday, and the stalk had roots!!! Just tiny ones, but they count!! Hurray! Hurray!

Teresa, I made one of those Forsythe (?) Pots with the vermiculite and clay pot in the middle. Took a small tip cutting dipped in rooting hormone and stuck it in. Hurray!

I also rooted 3 hibiscus cuttings in regular potting soil without hormone. I put them in a plastic '4 pack' container and put it all in a pan that I kept a little water in.

I'd love to try one, please treemail me and we can work out a trade for fall or something I'm sure I have something you'll like in return. This is my first year with kopper king or any other hibiscus besides rose of sharon and okra. Thank you so much for the offer.

Because okra, cotton, hibiscus, as well as hibiscus are same family. Try crossing them for me. I work too much at a 9 to 5 to have any "fun". America.....
