Today I looked after my Rosularias

Rosularia rechingeri today. Got it from a German Nursery. I'm sure the name is right.


Not pretty sure with the following plants. Must wait for flowers.

Got these as Rosularia pallida (?):



Rosularia chrysantha (?):


Rosularia aizoon (?):



These two with correct names.
Rosularia sempervivum ssp. sempervivum


Rosularia sempervivum ssp. glaucophylla

Those are wonderful. Keep us posted, love to see the blooms.

R. pallida & R. aizoon are considered to be the same plant, Prometheum aizoon.
Rosularia rechingeri is now Prometheum rechingeri

Rosularia sempervivum subsp. glaucophylla, instead of ssp.
For the database use subsp instead of ssp.

Rosularia chrysantha is now Prometheum chrysanthus subsp chrysanthus.

It sure does get confusing with all the name changes in the scientific worls.

I don't think it is me. But everything seems to love this sandy loam I get from our local farm store. You should see my potato plants right now. I'm afraid to sit still very long while working near that bed.

I have now 11 different Rosularias/Prometheum

some more, which starts blooming:

Rosularia pallida


Rosularia chrysantha


Rosularia aizoon

(I must watch chrysantha and aizoon, if the names are right. So I'll get to buy some more of them at different nurseries to be able to compare)

Rosularia alpestris subsp. alpestris; a small species


And a little offset of Rosularia elymaitica.
It's the rest. The bigger plants all died after having bloomed. Just got this offset left.
