I have had more chimera this year than ever before. It has to be stress from the weird weather.

Honey Glazed chemical, I'm sure, this clump is in a bed that was treated with Agri-mycin, for rot problems.
This same clump has one, or two stalks that are WAY tall, as well

So you're saying that the chemical applied to treat rot, distorted the blooms? Crap. Damned if you do and damned if you don't, eh? I thought you were going to say that this was drift from your neighbor spraying..................

This was from last year.. but the combination of broken color with all the other weirdness qualifies for Super Freak, don't you think?

Wow...that really IS weird.

broken color seems to be that way. It is genetic, not a weather choice.

Lucy, that's good to know. I have that one Batik that has at least one flower that's odd every year.
