Been way too hectic around here to keep up with the pictures lately. The Garden Club tour finally happened after re-scheduling twice. They missed the best blooms and the weeds had made a re-appearance, but there was still lots of color to see.

Horse show season has started and the other small gardens are now all cleaned and planted. Phew!

So, back to Iris!

I find that it is hard to get a good picture of One of a Kind that shows the neat veining of brown around the standards. It is really a gorgeous plant that grows on you.

I was very happy with the percentage of bloom that I got from rhizomes that had been planted late in the previous fall. Several of the non blooming two year old plantings put on a good show.

Like I said in Tom's thread, there's too many beauties to list that I liked. There is one that really jumped out at me and screamed "take me home with you". That one would be One Of A Kind.
